Do not fill in the ampere value until the combination is verified.
A 110.22(C) marking is a statement that the installed equipment carries a tested series
rating. Applying it to a combination that was never furnished as tested is a false marking
on energized service equipment. Two combinations on this job are unconfirmed:
Clubhouse CH 400A NQ is series rated with a Class J fuse. No Class J fuse appears on the CED quote.
QO2100VH tenant breakers into the QO and HOM load centers is a three-tier combination that is not documented anywhere in the submittal.
110.21(B) applies to these markings. Permanent, suitable for the environment,
and not handwritten, except that values subject to change on site may be handwritten if legible.
